01Use of the Platform

NotesCafe Study OS is an online preparatory platform built for aspirants of various competitive examinations including UPPCS, UPSC, State PCS, Banking, SSC and other exams.

The Platform is intended solely for personal educational and knowledge upgradation purposes. Users agree to use NotesCafe Study OS responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

02User Accounts

Some features may require users to create an account.

Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activities conducted by or through their account.

NotesCafe Study OS reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in misuse, unauthorized access, spam, or activities that may harm the Platform or other users or breach any law in any manner.

03User Notes & Content

Users may create notes and preparation-related content within the Platform.

Content created by users remains their responsibility. By using NotesCafe Study OS, users grant us permission to securely store and process such content for providing and improving Platform services.

Users must ensure that uploaded or shared content does not violate any copyright, intellectual property rights, or applicable laws.

04Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, graphics, design elements, software, and materials — excluding user-generated content — belong to NotesCafe Study OS or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users must not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use Platform content to the disadvantage of NotesCafe Study OS, and not without prior written consent of NotesCafe Study OS management.

05Smart Notes

“Smart Notes” are the study notes prepared and published by NotesCafe Study OS, organised by exam, subject, chapter and topic, in English and Hindi. They are provided on the Platform to users whose plan includes them, and are also sold separately as downloadable PDF eBooks.

Sources and accuracy. Smart Notes are prepared from NCERT, standard book references, keywords from the syllabus and previous year question papers. Current-affairs Smart Notes are prepared from PIB releases, ministry publications and leading national dailies. We take care to keep Smart Notes accurate and up to date, but they may contain errors or omissions, and facts, figures, schemes and rules may change after a note is published. Smart Notes are a study aid, not a substitute for the prescribed syllabus, standard books or official notifications, and users should verify important information from official sources. The Educational Disclaimer in these Terms also applies to Smart Notes.

Your licence. Smart Notes are licensed, not sold. When you access Smart Notes through a plan or buy a Smart Notes eBook, NotesCafe Study OS grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to read and use them for your own examination preparation. All rights in Smart Notes, including their text, structure, diagrams, maps, tables and images, remain with NotesCafe Study OS.

You may read Smart Notes on the Platform on your own devices, print a purchased eBook for your own study, and copy extracts into your personal notes on the Platform where the Platform allows it. Extracts copied into your personal notes remain NotesCafe Study OS content and stay covered by this licence.

You must not:

• Share, forward, upload or post Smart Notes, in full or in part, on any website, social media platform, messaging group (including WhatsApp and Telegram), cloud drive or file-sharing service
• Sell, resell, rent, lend or give away Smart Notes or a purchased eBook
• Use Smart Notes in coaching classes, printed material, test series, videos or any other product or service, whether paid or free
• Copy, translate, adapt or republish Smart Notes, or present them as your own work
• Remove, hide or alter any watermark, licence line, NotesCafe branding or source line on a Smart Note or eBook
• Scrape, bulk-download or extract Smart Notes using automated tools, or use them to train any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model

eBooks. Smart Notes eBooks are delivered only as PDF downloads. Every copy is stamped with the buyer’s name, mobile number and order reference and carries a visible watermark, so that each copy can be traced to its licensed buyer. The buyer is responsible for their copy, and a stamped copy found shared or distributed will be treated as a breach by that buyer. Purchased eBooks can be downloaded again from My eBooks using the same mobile number. Refunds for eBooks are governed by our Refund Policy.

Access through a plan. Smart Notes included in a plan or free trial can be accessed only while that plan or trial is active. When it ends, access to those Smart Notes ends with it.

Changes to Smart Notes. NotesCafe Study OS may revise, correct, reorganise, replace or withdraw any Smart Note at any time, for example to follow a change in the syllabus, add new previous year questions or correct an error.

Reporting errors. If you find an error in a Smart Note, please write to support@notes-cafe.com with the subject, chapter and topic, so that it can be checked and corrected.

Breach. Any breach of this section may lead to immediate suspension or termination of your account and eBook access without refund, and to action under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws.

06Platform Experience & Updates

NotesCafe Study OS continuously improves its features, performance, and user experience.

Features, interface elements, or services may be updated, enhanced, modified, or reorganized from time to time, to improve preparation workflows and platform quality.

We continuously work to maintain a friendly, stable, affordable and reliable experience for all users.

07Third-party Services

NotesCafe Study OS may use trusted third-party services for authentication, payments, analytics, notifications, cloud infrastructure, and communication services without separately notifying the user for use of such third-party services.

We do not guarantee and are not responsible, in any manner whatsoever, for the policies or practices of external third-party platforms.

08Payments & Subscriptions

Some features or services on NotesCafe Study OS may be paid.

By purchasing or subscribing to our paid services, users agree to the applicable pricing, billing terms, and refund policies available on the Platform. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.

Pricing and features may change over time.

09Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Misuse the Platform
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with Platform operations
• Upload harmful or unlawful content
• Distribute spam or malicious software
• Use NotesCafe Study OS for illegal activities
• Scrape, copy or resell platform content
• Share account credentials with others

Violation of these conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) or causing any harm, disadvantage or loss in any manner may result in suspension or restriction of access and may attract legal consequences.

10Educational Disclaimer

NotesCafe Study OS is an educational and awareness support platform designed to help aspirants and students organize and manage their studies more effectively and efficiently.

The Platform does not guarantee examination results, selections, or ranks. Users are encouraged to independently verify official exam-related information, notifications, and announcements. This platform does not claim to be an alternative to government or its agencies’ websites or mechanisms — rather, it supplements and collates information in a more user-friendly manner.

11AI Disclaimer

NotesCafe Study OS may use AI-assisted features. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies. Users are advised to independently verify any educational information, summaries, or recommendations generated by AI before relying on them for examination purposes.

12Limitation of Liability

NotesCafe Study OS strives to provide a reliable and secure preparation experience. However, use of the Platform is at the user’s discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NotesCafe Study OS shall not be liable for indirect or unforeseen losses arising from use of the Platform or third-party services connected to it.

13Privacy

Use of NotesCafe Study OS is also governed by our Privacy Policy available on the Platform.

14Changes to These Terms

NotesCafe Study OS may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on this page, and continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform in cases of misuse, violation of these Terms, or activities harmful to the Platform or its users.

16Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising in relation to the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
